Graffiti
I think graffiti is art unless it is rude and has swearing in it.
I think graffiti is art when it is decorating dark alley ways or the side of a brick building. When people spray paint alley ways and it looks good, it gives people something to look at. When professional graffiti artists paint walls and get paid for it, it looks really cool.
When people paint rude and swear words, it look bad. It can be a really bad influence on children if they see it. When you see it, it is not very comforting and it is inappropriate.
The people how do the bad graffiti are usually teenagers. They do it because they are bored and like the adrenaline of running from the cops. They also do it to express themselves.
There are seven different types of graffiti. Tagging that's when you youes one colour and one word. Throw up is the same as tagging but it is has more detail. Blockbuster this is the same again but with block letters. Forth their is wild style that is when it is hard to read and has lots of shapes like arrows. Heaven that is when a professional does a piece of art. There is also stencil that is just a normal stencil and last of all poster that is when you do it on a poster at home then put it up on a wall.
The best professional graffiti artist Banksy he lives in the United Kingdom and I was born in 1974. Second is Shepard Fairey he lives in South Carolina in the United States. He was born in 1976 and thirdly keith haring,He lives in Pennsylvania United States and he was born in 1958.
When graffiti is done without being rude and has no swearing in it, I think that it is art and looks good.
